LPG is a mixture of light hydrocarbons, primarily propane and butane, stored and transported in liquid form under pressure. It is used as a household, commercial, and industrial fuel, as a petrochemical feedstock, and as an automotive fuel. LPG is commonly traded in pressurized vessels, terminals, and storage facilities.
Gasoline is a light petroleum product used as fuel for spark-ignition engines. It is produced by refining and blending streams such as naphtha and reformate. Grades and specifications vary by market, including octane, sulphur, volatility, and oxygenates.
Naphtha is a light hydrocarbon fraction from crude refining and condensate processing. It is used as a petrochemical feedstock for olefins and aromatics, and as a gasoline blending component. It is traded internationally as both a refinery feedstock and a petrochemical raw material.
Diesel is a middle-distillate product used in compression-ignition engines for road transport, industrial equipment, and power generation. Commercial grades are defined by sulphur content, cetane number, density, and cold-flow properties, including ultra-low sulphur diesel such as 10 ppm.
Jet fuel is a middle-distillate product for aviation turbine engines. The most widely traded grades include Jet A and Jet A-1. Kerosene is a related fraction used for heating, lighting, and certain industrial applications.
Gasoil is a middle-distillate used for diesel blending, heating, industrial applications, and marine fuels. Grades differ by sulphur content, density, and cetane characteristics. It is an important benchmark in European and international refined-product markets.
Fuel oil consists of heavier petroleum fractions used in marine engines, industrial boilers, power generation, and other heavy-fuel applications. Grades vary by viscosity, sulphur content, and density, and may be blended to meet commercial requirements.
Vacuum Gas Oil (VGO) is a heavy intermediate stream from the vacuum distillation of atmospheric residue. It is used as feedstock for conversion units such as fluid catalytic crackers and hydrocrackers.
Bitumen is a highly viscous heavy hydrocarbon used mainly in road construction, asphalt, and infrastructure. Grades are classified by penetration, softening point, and viscosity, and are traded in bulk and packaged forms.
